I really miss Lisbon so I decide to make some comfort food! These breaded turkey breasts are so delicious and can be made in just 1 hour! If you fancy a restaurant style meal from the comfort of your home then this is it!
𝕀𝕟𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕕𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤
•300g Turkey Breast
•1 Lemon
•2 Eggs
•2 Slices of Toast
•100g Flour
•Olive Oil
•1 tbsp Garlic Granules
•Salt, Pepper, Paprika, All Purpose Seasoning
𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕
Pound the turkey breasts so they have a flat surface (this will make them easier to fry)
Sprinkle each side with your seasoning and lemon juice then cover and keep in the fridge for 30mins.
Turn your pan on and add enough oil to shallow fry the turkey breasts.
Whilst the pan is warming you can start to get the turkey breasts ready.
Sprinkle your flour on a plate and add in all your seasoning.
Crack your 2 eggs and whisk in seperate dish.
Lastly grind your slices of toast into breadcrumbs and place on a separate plate.
Take one of your turkey breasts and coat them in flour. Shake of any excess flour and then dip into the egg mixture coating it well. Next coat with the breadcrumbs and make sure the turkey breast is completely covered.
Repeat this step for all the turkey breasts.
When the oil is sizzling slowly add the turkey breasts, do 1-2 at a time for around 5mins on each side (when they are golden and crisp)
Take the turkey breast and place them on a kitchen towel to remove the excess oil.
Once all the turkey breasts have been fried, place them on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 5minutes on 180°
Serve them with chips, vine tomatoes, mushrooms, rice and salad!
