Pumpkin Crumble šŸŽƒ

This is my mixed spice pumpkin and apple crumble recipe! The added pumpkin purĆ©e and mixed spice brought a warm autumnal feel from home! It was super delicious and so much fun eating it out of an actual pumpkinšŸ˜›



š•€š•Ÿš•˜š•£š•–š••š•šš•–š•Ÿš•„š•¤

Filling

ā€¢1/2 Baby Pumpkin

ā€¢2 tsp Mixed Spice

ā€¢100ml Condensed Milk

ā€¢3 tbsp of Milk

ā€¢4 Green Apples

ā€¢Cinnamon

ā€¢Brown Sugar

ā€¢Lemon Juice

Topping

ā€¢1 Cup Flour

ā€¢1 Cup Jumbo Oats

ā€¢125g Butter

ā€¢100g Sugar

ā€¢1 Carton of Custard

ā€¢Rose Petals, Meringues


ā£ š•„š•–š•„š•™š• š••

  1. Preheat your oven to gas mark 5.

  2. Slice the top of your pumpkin and scoop until hollow.

  3. Cook your pumpkin in the microwave until soft and then blitz with condensed milk, mixed spice and milk until a lovely paste.

  4. Next peel and quarter your apples and then slice thinly.

  5. Once all apples are sliced, place them in a large bowl with lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar.

  6. Pour your apples and pumpkin purƩe into the baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.

  7. For the topping, chop your butter into cubes and add into a mixing bowl alongside your flour and mix together with your fingers.

  8. Next, add in your jumbo oats and sugar and pour into a separate baking dish. Bake for 30minutes until golden.

  9. Layer your filling and topping into the pumpkin and top with some warm custard.

  10. Decorate however you please, I went for rose petals and meringues.
