Sticky Sesame Chicken Bites

My favourite Chinese place stopped delivering during lockdown so I decided to recreate one of my favourite dishes.

𝕀𝕟𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕕𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤
•5 Chicken breasts
𝔽𝕠𝕣 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕔𝕠𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘
•1 cup Plain Flour, Paprika, Garlic Granules, All Purpose Seasoning, Salt and Pepper
•2 Eggs and a splash of Milk
𝕊𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕤𝕡𝕚𝕔𝕪 𝕘𝕝𝕒𝕫𝕖 𝕣𝕖𝕔𝕚𝕡𝕖
•5 tbsp Golden syrup
•1 tbsp Chilli paste (I use Korean)
•1 tablespoon Paprika
•2 tbsp of Chilli flakes
•1 Garlic granules
•4 tablespoons of Soy sauce
•1 teaspoon of Sesame oil
•4 tablespoons of Olive oil
𝕋𝕠𝕡𝕡𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤- Sesame seeds, chopped Spring onions
𝕄𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕕
1. Wash and cut chicken into bite size cubes
2. Dip the chicken into the seasoned flour
3. Beat 2 eggs and milk in a bowl and dip the floured chicken into the eggs
4. Dip the chicken back into the flour and repeat for every chicken cube
5. Fill a shallow amount of oil into a pot and when hot add the chicken pieces till brown and evenly cooked
6. Remove chicken pieces onto kitchen towel and generously add salt and all purpose seasoning
7. Mix all glaze ingredients and heat up in a pan until the sauce thickens,
8. Next add your chicken bites until evenly coated
9. Take off the heat and add in some sesame seeds, spring onions and chopped chilli. 💓
