These delicious Turkish style eggs with crunchy sourdough are the perfect brunch dish! Poached eggs on a bed of warm garlic yoghurt, drizzled with Aleppo butter and fresh herbs.. sounds dreamy already!

ā¢200g Greek Yoghurt
ā¢2 tsp Minced GarlicĀ
ā¢1 tsp Coarse SaltĀ
ā¢Cap of White Vinegar
ā¢4 Large EggsĀ
ā¢Fresh Dill or Coriander(chopped)
ā¢SourdoughĀ
ā¢2 tbsp Butter
ā¢1 teaspoon Aleppo Pepper / Turkish Red Pepper Flakes (use regular chilli flakes if you donāt have any)
ā¢1/2 tsp PaprikaĀ

In a medium bowl stir in your yoghurt, minced garlic and sea salt and leave until room temperature.
Fill up a pot with water and once boiled add a cap full of white vinegar and stir.
Crack your egg into a ramekin and then pour gently into the water. Poaching for 2-3 minutes!Ā
Once finished place your poached eggs on a paper towel read to assemble.
In a separate saucepan melt in your butter until slightly brown as it will give a beautiful nutty flavour!
Next add your chilli flakes and paprika and when it starts to foam remove off the heat.
Get two serving dishes and spoon half your yoghurt into each.
Next add 2 poached eggs into each bowl and pour your aleppo butter on top.
Sprinkle some chopped herbs and add some toasted sourdough and your dish is complete!
